ABOUT THE EVENT

Welcome to the 2010 Racing Lines GP On Road Winter Championships. The Winter Champs is an annual event promoted each year by Racing Lines Magazine. This year PDNR have again been given the opportunity to host this major event.

The Winter Champs is being held on Saturday July 3, 2010.

DIVISIONS
Divisions for the 2010 Winter Champs are GP only, and will be based on the current Nitro Interclub Series specifications - Open Tourer, Pull Start, Nitro Sport, and 1/8 Scale.
More information on GP specifications can be found at www.interclub.org.au

A special feature of the GP side of this event is it's inclusion as a round of the Nitro Interclub Series, so GP drivers competing at the 2010 Winter Champs are not only competing head to head, but club against club.

IMPORTANT ENTRANT INFORMATION

Entrants are advised of the following important information:

240V POWER EXTENSION LEADS - MUST BE TAGGED
PDNR have been advised by venue management (SIRC) that all extension leads used by drivers at the 2010 Winter Champs MUST be tagged. Any personal electronic items such as chargers, tyre truers and power boards are not required to be tagged.

PDNR will provide a testing and tagging facility on the morning of the event with a nominal fee of $5.00 per item (to essentially cover costs). PDNR apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but venue regulations require these procedures be enforced.

It is also requested that extension leads be kept off the ground. PDNR have a limited number of poles to aid with this requirement, but if drivers can help where possible it would be greatly appreciated.

PARKING ON THE GRASS
SIRC typically do not allow motor vehicles to park on the grass, however for the 2010 Winter Champs, entrants and spectators will be permitted to park (nose in) around the perimeter of the grassed areas once all asphalt parking is full.
