CHANGES FOR 2006 SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIP
There
are a number of changes being implimented for the 2006 Summer Championship.
These changes are outlined below:
RACE ORDER:
1. Novice
2. Truck
3. Nitro Kit
4. Pull Start
5. Top Gun
6. Open Pan
7. Buggy
8. Single Speed
9. Outlaw
STARTING PROCEEDURE:
- Open Pan will use a Le Mans start, Race 1 based in registration order, Race
2 based on Race 1 positions.
- Top Gun will also used a Le Mans start. Race order based on previous race,
with Race 2 a Reverse Grid.
- All other divisions must be stationary behind the starting line. Cars not
on the grid at the 10 second mark will start from pit lane. Cars starting from
pit lane must wait for the entire field to pass before joining the race.
RACE FORMAT:
- Race format will remain 2 x 5 minute races, but there will be 4:30sec between
races.
TRACK DESIGN:
- A new track layout will be used for 2006.
