RACE RESULTS - 2006 CHARITY CHALLENGE

A record number of entries were received for this year's event and PDNR would like to thank everyone who attended for their suppor, especially members and drivers from other clubs - SMA, LRCCC, WINDSOR, RYDE, & TEMPLESTONE - who made the effort to attend and helped out heaps on the day...special mention to Martin Choy and Allan Johnson who were totally run off their feet during the JUNIOR A Final marshalling around the bridge!

This year also saw the introduction of a new JUNIOR class designed primarily to give the kids of drivers racing an opportunity to compete. All the Kids should be very proud of their driving, and all of them, including the youngest aged only 5, improved with every run on the track. It was really great to see how well they can go when on track with each other!

2006 was another great Kids Race Day, but it would not have happened without our sponsors and PDNR extend a huge thanks and appreciation to all sponsors and supporters. Special mention has to go to "Chippy" who especially returned again from Tasmania to compete in the 2006 Charity Challenge. He not only raced, but organised a awesome King Island Cheese platter to auction, and other awards for all podium finishers!
