On Saturday, November 17 drivers arrived at the P5 car park at the Sydney International Regatta Centre faced with a gruelling 3 hour race ahead. This year, 12 teams would compete to become the champions of the 2007 Proline 3 Hour Classic. This even was once again sponsored by Proline and their exclusive Australian agents HEI International who supplied each team with a Proline FX Enzo body. There were some great paint schemes, and many teams used bright colours realising that this event would run into the night. There were some other supporters of the event who donated prizes for teams to choose from, and so we thank: Graham's Hobby Centre, Auswide Hobbies & Collectables, JPM Racing, Tool Aus and Scott's Auto One (Penrith) and we would also like to mention Kenndards Hire (Penrith) who helped us out with temporary lighting and generators. Nothing could prepare the teams competing for what the next 180 minutes would involve, many thought they were prepared having competed in the 2.4 Hour Le Mans events, but as the cliche says - anything can and usually does happen!
