RACE RESULTS - 2008 CHARITY CHALLENGE

Race results from the 2008 Charity Challenge (held on December 21 at Oran Park) are available below.

2008 was another well supported event with many drivers from PDNR and other RC clubs making the trip to Oran Park to give their support of not only the PDNR Charity Challenge, but the Kids Race Day as well. PDNR would like to thank everyone who attended for their support, especially those who offered their car for the Kids Free Test Drives.

The weather was perfect (except for a few big gusts of wind that relocated race control temporarily). The annual drag on the main straight was cancelled for some reason but in it;s place was a Police chase between the V8 Commodore and Steve O's trusty steed - Serpent 960. The first run nearly ended in tears with the failsafe sending the car millimetres from the rear wheels of the cop car, but once the range was soreted there were a couple of close runs.
